Today, Gimmemusic School offers drum lessons to every student wishing to develop a sense of rhythm. Furthermore, with time, the drummer will be able to master their instrument for solo
performance or to accompany other musicians. To this end, they will be guided and supported in their learning by their teacher, through our pedagogy based on the joy of playing.

In addition to music lessons, our drummers have the opportunity to join bands. What better way to have fun than sharing music with other musicians? The adventure doesn’t stop there. Gimmemusic School organizes concerts to give its students the chance to perform in front of an audience. Furthermore, each student has the opportunity to record in a studio and share their music with classmates and family.
First of all, our music school offers an authentic and innovative teaching concept: the 360 method. Furthermore, you’ll be welcomed into a state-of-the-art environment. But above all, you’ll flourish and enjoy playing, guided by our teachers/coaches who will support you in your progress. At Gimmemusic School, the student is an active participant in their learning! Not only does the student progress at their own pace, with the opportunity to choose the style of music they like, but they also have the chance to play in a band and perform on stage.
Learning drums at our music school is a rich experience on many levels. It offers the opportunity to explore different musical styles through exercises that are fun and original. These exercises are developed by our teaching team and are presented in the form of sheet music and recordings.
Furthermore, the comprehensive musical training provided by our teachers offers a wide range of learning tools. These tools allow students to practice music in a variety of ways, notably through the use of music theory, personalized scores, and body percussion exercises.
Mastering the drums means mastering the art of tempo! Whether a beginner or advanced student, the percussionist, with the help of their coach, participates in choosing the rhythms that resonate with them, across various styles. Our 360 method is based on objectives, defined jointly with the teacher after the first lesson. Each student’s progress is part of a personalized plan. It is regularly assessed and updated by the teacher, in keeping with the overall philosophy of our music school.
Beginners, adults or children, become familiar with the musical instrument and learn about it through repetition exercises, listening to music, and experimenting with different techniques. You play what you love, and you love what you play!
More advanced musicians benefit from their teacher’s support to focus on areas of study that allow them to improve their technique and interpretation, enabling them to tackle more complex works. Improvisation and orchestration are also explored with the aim of venturing into new territories.
If you are a composer, performer or music group, amateur or at the beginning of your career, we offer you a coach who advises and guides you on several aspects such as musical arrangement, sound research, production quality, lyrics and stage presence. Sign up here!

At our school, you have the opportunity to enroll several of your children, for example, in a group class, at a shared price. If you come with one or two friends, for instance, you split the cost of
the lessons. Does your child want to start drum lessons with their best friend? Enroll them together and the costs will be split.
Studying music in a group means sharing the desire to improve! Our music school offers group lessons so students can experience the joy of progressing together. Playing music together stimulates the desire to learn while also developing listening skills, understanding tempo, and maintaining a steady rhythm. Indeed, many advantages result from choosing this approach.
All our students have the opportunity to perform on stage during our live concerts.
It is fortunate that our school is located in the Etoy’s artistic center, as it boasts two concert halls with excellent acoustics. The sound and lighting equipment is used to enhance the students’ performances, giving them the opportunity to learn how to operate it.
These stages allow one to become comfortable playing in front of an audience, as well as learning the technical aspects of a concert.
Our concerts are not simply recitals, like those at a conservatory, but are focused on showcasing the students’ work. Experiencing performing in public is not just sitting down at your
instrument, playing a piece, and leaving.
The student participating in the concert has rehearsed on stage and benefited from their teacher’s guidance. They are learning to generously share the fruits of their labor with the audience. The student is proud of their work and enjoys sharing it with the spectators.
Our concerts are not only an opportunity for students to experience the live stage, but also to discover the work of other students and teachers.
